I was really looking forward to a grown-up weekend in New York City. It had been a long time since my husband and I have been able to get away without our daughter. I was hoping for some brisk, but not too cold, December weather with sunshine.
That's not what we got.
Instead, most of Saturday was a combination of rain, more rain, wet snow and high winds. Yeah -- lovely.
But in the back seat of the cab after dinner, I spent a little time playing with the camera in my iPhone and got a few shots like this one. It pretty much captures just what kind of late fall night we had. I'm still waiting for my boots to dry out!
